Some Good Youtube Channels

I was reviewing some of my suscribed youtube channels and others that have been suggested, notably on /tg/osr. Here is a list of some I find interesting:

  • Schola Gladiatoria: Channel on historical fencing and HEMA. Seems like a nice guy, engage with common culture such as movies, interesting research and theories on weaponry.
  • ThegnThrand: Little bit the same. Interesting experimental archeology. Down to earth (in the good sense).
  • Roland Warzecha: One of the most interesting figure of the same kind as the two others. Very dedicated researcher. He is a must.
  • Knyght Errant Channel: Another living history interesting guy.
  • Carlo Rolle: An historian that speaks a lot about Late Antiquity amongst other things, a fascinating subject. He always suggest further reading and such.
  • The Dungeon Synth Archives: Good for music mood while creating dungeons and wilderness encounter.
  • Questing Beast: I don't like his material, i.e. Knave. But his videos on map making are great and his D&D interview stuff (such as interview with Tim Kask) are amazingly interesting.
  • Tim Kask: Speaking of which, Tim Kask himself is a must and very interesting perspectice on old school gaming from an actual old school player/DM.
  • Matt Colville: I know lot of people in the old school scene doesn't like him, but I do think he produce great videos. His written material is different and not everything is perfect. But it's still useful.
  • Wally D.M.: He plays Pathfinder (that's what I could gather), but some of his puzzle are very interesting, and at the very least, good inspiration to craft your own if you lack ideas.
  • Seth Skorkowsky: Some nice review of old school adventure, some nice tips that are applicable to all edition. Not everything is pertinent for old school play but still interesting.
If anybody have any other suggestion, send them my way in the comments !
